Located in the south of Gwacheon at an altitude of 618m facing Mt. Gwanak. As the name depicts, the mountain is covered by thick forests and is visited by climbers seeking the enjoyment of forest therapy.
The largest tourism complex of the metropolitan area is located at the foot of the mountain, including Gwacheon Seoul Grand Park, Gwacheon Seoul Land, National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Gwacheon National Science Museum, and Gwacheon Racecourse Park.
