Gyeonggi Sori Initiation Hall opened in July 2011, together with Gwacheon Cultural Center with one basement floor and two ground floors. It was constructed with a simple yet stylish design with the integration of traditional hanok and modern, Western-style building. The Gyeonggi Sori Initiation Hall provides the conservation and transmission of Gyeonggido Designated Intangible Cultural Asset, Gyeonggi Sori, and opportunities for citizens to learn many traditional cultures. It is equipped with subsidiary facilities, including a performance hall, large and medium-sized practice rooms, and a data room. It also operates a rental business to provide a cultural space to its citizens.
